You may have already figured this out, but Lume's a drastically different kind of deodorant than anything else out there. Because of this, applying it is also a little bit different.

How to Use Lume Deodorant

If you're just starting out, it's a good idea to apply daily until you notice you've gone 24 hours odor free. From there, you can begin to experiment with how often you need to apply.

Where can you use Lume? Anywhere you have odor but wish you didn't, Pits, Privates & Beyond.

We're talking about underboobs, belly buttons, skinfolds, behind the ears, or anywhere else you want to control external body odor.

How to Apply Lume

For best results, apply to dry skin.

Dial up solid stick
Apply 2-3 swipes anywhere you want to control odor.

For pits:

Extend 1-2 inches outside of the hair bearing area.

For privates - the short story:

A little goes a long way. Using fingertips, swipe onto thigh folds, undercarriage, and sweep up between the butt cheeks to the tailbone.

For privates - the full story:

Working front to back (never work back to front due to increased risk for urinary tract infections), apply to the clitoral hood & labia majora (not inside the vagina or around the urethra), continue back further to the perineum (the space between the rectum and vaginal opening), and sweep up between the butt cheeks to the tailbone.

Apply around the base of the penis and between the folds of the legs, work back to the space between the scrotum and rectum, and finally sweep back between the butt cheeks and up to the tailbone.

For feet:

Pay particular attention to the areas between the toes and around the heel.

You can also apply Lume under breasts, in tummy folds, behind ears, or anywhere else you have external odor but wish you didn't.

Lume does its best work when applied to dry skin daily after a shower, but its odor control will keep on working for up to 72 hours!

Each time you shower, you will need to reapply.
